Winner of the 1988 Australian Superbike Championship, the 1989 Kawasaki ZXR750 H1 went into battle with Honda’s RC30 in 1989. Rob Phillis and Aaron Slight piloted the machines which will always be remembered for the curtain raiser final lap crash before the 1989 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix which was won by Wayne Gardner. The Grand Prix race also featured Mick Doohan.
In original, unrestored condition which is extremely rare in a 34 year-old bike, this amazing 107 HP bike has a top speed of 250 km/h. Presented in the factory original classic Kawasaki racing colours, it features a twin-spar frame, Kawasaki Uni-Trak mono-shock rear suspension, 4-cylinder engine 6 speed transmission.
