A Norton Commando, one of the most powerful and best handling British motorcycles of the late Sixties and Seventies, may not seem very conservative at first glance. Not only does the bike easily keep up with modern traffic, but in the minds of many people, Norton is forever associated with the Commando advertising campaign, which featured sexy women dressed in the latest in mod fashion.
The Norton Commando was available in a variety of configurations, all cosmetic packages, as they were all built on identical Commando engines, frames and running gear.
While the first Commando was the Fastback, by 1974 the standard Norton Commando was the Roadster, which is the most common model and the one you see most often.
This particular Norton is a one-off fitted with the rare Dunstall Body Kit which included tank, seat and guards.

It also has a super rare druin super charger which doubles the horsepower.

This bike also sports clip on handlebars, Norman Hyde Fork Brace, green dots speedo and tacho, rear set foot pegs, alloy wheels and a 2 into 1 performance exhaust making it one of the most beautiful Norton’s ever put together and a real fire breather.
