This bike is one of Johnny Gee’s own personal custom concoctions.
In 2007, John had aspirations to go to New Zealand and race in the Burt Munro Challenge. He decided the weapon of choice would be the Triumph Bonneville, so John started with a 1967 Bonny and began the transformation. It got a Honda 750 Front End with motocross style handlebars, alloy rims, a custom oil tank and a Harley Davidson XR750 Tank and Seat Unit.
The engine runs 11-1 compression pistons Mikuni Carbs and electronic ignition. When asked about it John said this is what Evil Knievel should have had.
Anyway, 2011 was chosen as the date for the Burt Munro Challenge but unfortunately Antique Motorcycles suffered a catastrophic fire and our bid for the famous trophy did not eventuate.
The bike remains here as one of John’s favourites amongst many at Naked Racer Moto Co.
