Here is a rare opportunity to buy a modern collectable motorcycle, this Steve McQueen replica.
Triumph made 1100 bikes in 2012 to celebrate the movie bike from the Great Escape which famously jumped the barb wire barrier in the scene with Steve McQueen being chased by the German army. Side note, it was actually Bud Ekins, Steve McQueens close friend and stunt rider for the movie who did the jump.
The movie bike was a Triumph tricked up by Bud Ekins to perform the jump and to look like a BMW from the Germans as that is what Steve stole to make his escape. Obviously an instant collectable classic, this bike is a one owner, numbered 1073 of 1100 worldwide and it has only travelled 8706 kms.
Great opportunity to get a meticulously maintained example of this limited edition.
