Sold by Hinton Motors in Lindscombe NSW to Len Roberts. The last owner was Jack Carruthers, father of Australian World Champion Kel Carruthers. Jack brought the bike for his son Kel, the bike was later restored after a promise was made to Jack that the bike was going to be a tribute to his son Kel’s International racing career. The bike was restored to the way that it was when Kel had last used it and was displayed as a fitting tribute to Kel Carruthers world champion. Arguably he is Australia’s most influential motorcycle racer/race manager in a career that lasted over 48 years.
